ICC Test Ranking: Ravindra Jadeja Becomes No.1 All Rounder In Tests
Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has become the world’s No. 1 all-rounder in the latest ICC Test rankings. Ravindra Jadeja has replaced West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder to become the world’s No. 1 Test all-rounder. 32-year-old Jadeja has 386 points. Good news has come for Jadeja during the final of the ICC World Test Championship.
West Indies’ Jason Holder has slipped from the top to number two in the ICC Test all-rounder rankings. He has 384 points. England’s star all-rounder Ben Stokes has slipped to number three in the Test all-rounder rankings. Stokes has 377 points. India’s R Ashwin is at number four in this list. He has 353 points. Jadeja and Ashwin have found a place in the playing XI against New Zealand in the WTC final. Australia’s Pat Cummins remains at number one in the ICC’s Test rankings for bowlers. He has 908 points. India’s off-spinner R Ashwin has become second in this list. He has 850 points.
There is no change in the top five places in the ranking of batsmen. Indian captain Virat Kohli is in fourth place with 814 points. Australia’s Steve Smith continues to top with 891 points, while New Zealand’s Kane Williamson (886) and Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne (878) are second and third respectively. England captain Joe Root (797) is at number five, followed by Indian pair of Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma in joint sixth with 747 points.
Apart from Ashwin, no Indian bowler is included in this list. New Zealand’s Tim Southee is at number three in the ICC Test rankings. His teammate Neil Wagner in the Kiwi team is at number five in this list. Both of them are also included in the playing XI against India in the WTC final. Australia’s Josh Hazlewood is at number five in this list.
