Top 10 All Rounder’s in History of IPL

All rounder’s play a vital role in cricket they play with an advantage of both bowling and batting.

IPL witnessed some of the best all rounder’s from overseas and India itself and it also produced some.

Here we are with top 10 all rounders in the history of IPL.

10. Albie Morkel

South African batting all-rounder Albie Morkel was an important player for Chennai Super kings in earlier edition of IPL. He scored many runs at lower middle order for CSK. Also, he could bowl with new ball and in death overs too. He was a major reason for victory of CSK in 2010 and 2011 IPL.

9. Krunal Pandya

Since his debut for Mumbai Indians in 2016 he played an important role for team. He plays as lower middle order batsman for Mumbai Indians and bowls left arm spin. He can ffinish well with some wickets in most of the matches. He was the part of Mumbai’s win in 2017, 2019 and 2020.

8. Ben Stokes

Current one of the best all rounder in world also lists at No. 8 in this list. There is no doubt that Ben Stokes played an important role in Rajasthan royals’ team and also for his former team Rising Pune Supergiants. He always managed to score a century in every season he played. Also, he can bat at middle order and as an opening batsman too. But he is still lacking with an IPL trophy.

7. Shakib Al Hasan

Bangladeshi all rounder is currently at No. 1 position in ICC men’s all rounder’s list. He can bat at middle order as well as an opening batsman. Also, he plays a key role in bowling of his team. So far, he played for Kolkata knight riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was the part of KKR team in 2012 and 2014 when KKR won the title.

6. Hardik Pandya

Indian batsman all-rounder and Mumbai Indians Star Hardik Pandya is no doubted the current best fast bowling All rounder in India. From his arrival in Mumbai Indians, he played some of the most important knocks and with ball too he was a successful player. He with Kieron Pollard is a deadly duo. He can finish well with his powerful shorts. He was part of Mumbai Indians team in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020 victory.

5. Jacques Kallis

If this list was of Top all-rounders of all time Kallis would hold the No. 1 position. He was the best all rounder cricket has ever produced. His record in IPL proves his ability of both bat and bowl. He played for Royal challengers Bangalore and Kolkata knight riders and lifted the trophy in 2012 as a KKR player.

4. Dwayne Bravo

A pure entertainer from West Indies Dwayne Bravo is playing IPL for a long time. In starting of his career, he was more of a batting all rounder but now he a bowling all rounder. His remarkable slow Yorkers specially in death overs disturbs batsmen and not allowing them to hit big shorts. He played for CSK and for Gujarat lions in his IPL career and became a two-time champion in 2012 and 2016.

3. Andre Russell

West Indies destructive batsman Andre Russell is among the most popular players in IPL because of his aggressive batting and as of now he has also improved his bowling he can bowl at 140+. He plays for Kolkata knight riders and from past many years he is an important player for KKR. He is also two-time T20 world cup winner in 2012 and 2016.

2. Ravindra Jadeja

Chennai star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is among the most loved and popular player in India. He is a left arm spin bowler and a left arm middle order batsman. His 37 over run in 2021 phase 1 of IPL against Royal challengers Bangalore was among the most memorable moments in IPL history and not only that he is also a good bowler he can take wickets whenever asked. And of both things doesn’t go well for him he is also a very good fielder so Jadeja is a complete package. He plays for Chennai Super kings and is an important part of the team.

1. Shane Watson

No doubt that Shane Watson was the best all rounder in IPL he can open the innings and can bowl first over of the innings. With his powerful batting and 140+ deliveries he was a best asset a team can have. Many a times he was the X factor in his team. His innings in final of 2018 with bleeding knee makes him a player of class and respect. He played for Rajasthan royals and won the first IPL in 2008 and than he played for RCB and ended his career in CSK. He lifted the trophy in 2018 as a CSK player and also was man of the match in the final.
