5. Jaydev Unadkat – 1
In 2017 IPL while playing for Rising Pune Supergiants, Jaydev Unadkat took hat-trick against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He has 1 hat-trick in IPL till now. He took wickets of Bipul Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan who were tailenders. He conceded 30 runs and took 5 wickets in that match.
4. Laxmipathy Balaji – 1
Right arm fast bowler Laxmipathy Balaji took hat-trick against Kings eleven Punjab in 2008 IPL while playing for Chennai Super kings. He took wickets of Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla and Yuvraj Singh. Balaji conceded 24 runs in that match and took 5 wickets. Laxmipathy Balaji had 1 hat-trick in IPL.
3. Andrew Tye – 1
In 2017 while playing for Gujarat lions, Andrew Tye took a hat-trick against Rising Pune Supergiants. Tye has one hat-trick in IPL. In that match he took wickets of Ankit Sharma, Manoj Tiwari and SN Thakur. He conceded 17 runs and took 5 wickets in that match.
2. Yuvraj Singh – 2
Yuvraj Singh had two hat-tricks in IPL. He took both the hat-tricks in same season that was in 2009. Left arm spinner Yuvraj Singh took first hat-trick against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He conceded 22 runs in that match and took 3 wickets. Second hat-trick came against Deccan chargers where he gave 13 runs in 4 overs and clinched 3 wickets. In both the matches Yuvraj was playing for Kings eleven Punjab.
1. Amit Mishra – 3
Amit Mishra who is popularly known as “Mishra ji” has the greatest number of hat-tricks in IPL. He took 3 hat-tricks in IPL till now. He took his first hat-trick in 2008 against Deccan chargers while playing for Delhi Daredevils. His second came in 2011 against Kings eleven Punjab, he was playing for Deccan chargers in that match. Third and final came in 2013 against Pune warriors, in that match he was playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Mishra is also the second highest wicket taker in IPL history.
