Cricket is considered to be a batsmen game but bowlers too are an important part of the game.
In T20 cricket spinners are mostly for controlling runs but they can also contribute to wickets in middle orders. In the history of IPL there are many spinners who performed really well so far. So here is the list of top 5 of them.
5. Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan is one of the best bowlers in modern Cricket specially in T20 format. In IPL he played 62 matches so far and took 75 wickets with economy of 6.24. He is just 22 years of age and achieved a lot. Even some top-class batsmen are not comfortable to play this Afghanistan’s spinner.
4. Sunil Narine

Kolkata knight riders one of the most important asset is Sunil Narine. Narine is his prime was one of the best spinners but due to some bowling action problems he was asked to change his action not once but twice but he never failed to deliver his best. So far, he played 120 matches and took 127 wickets with economy of 6.77.
3. Yuzvendra Chahal

Royal challengers Bangalore is not known for there bowlers but this man Yuzvendra Chahal is carrying that responsibility very consistently. He from past few years performed very well for RCB. He played 99 matches so far and took 121 wickets with economy of 7.67. his ability to bowl slower balls excites batsmen to hit the ball and results in losing their wicket.
2. Ravichandran Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin is one of the best spinners in cricket history. He is a pure wicket taking bowler. He is a successful bowler in every format of the game. In IPL he played 154 matches and took 138 wickets with economy of 6.87. Ashwin in his IPL career played for three different franchises (Chennai super kings, Delhi capitals and rising Pune Supergiants) but his best was in CSK under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.
1. Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra who is popularly known as “Mishra Ji” was not a successful bowler for India but in IPL he is a legend and a pure wicket taking bowler. He so far has a fantastic IPL career. He got an amazing record of most No. of hat-tricks that is 3 after his name. The 38-year-old is still playing for Delhi capitals. He is also second highest wicket taker in IPL history after Lasith Malinga. So far, he played 150 matches and took 160 wickets with economy of 7.34.
